The first two months of the year were excellent for the international cruise sector in Puerto Vallarta.
The months of January and February have been very good for the industry in Puerto Vallarta. Only in February, about 55 thousand passengers arrived at the destination.

With the arrival of the Carnival Splendor cruise ship last Wednesday, Puerto Vallarta closed a month of February that was good in terms of international cruises, although the first two months were much better, registering 40 ships.

The Integral Port Administration (API) of Puerto Vallarta, led by Constanza Suárez Jiménez, confirmed that during the month of February the local maritime terminal received a total of 15 international cruises with around 37,000 passengers on board.

This amount of passengers would have left an economic benefit estimated at 80 million pesos during the second month of this year, taking into account that 90 percent of the passengers get off the ship in Puerto Vallarta, and each one of them spends $120 in the city, with an exchange rate of 19 pesos per dollar.
