The business sector of Puerto Vallarta and Bahia de Banderas continue to work together and this was seen during the renewal of the board of directors of the Business Coordinating Council in Mexico City.

The presence of a delegation of this region in the acceptance of Carlos Salazar Lomelín as the new president of the Business Coordinating Council at the national level, was a sign that the sector continues to strengthen for the benefit of Puerto Vallarta and Bahía de Banderas.

This is an effort that must be maintained so that it can grow in the years to come.

Arnulfo Ortega Contreras, president of the Coordinating Council of Puerto Vallarta and Bahía de Banderas, pointed out that the business unity is an issue that has been progressing in recent years in this region.

For his part, Jorge Villanueva Hernández, president of the Association of Businessmen of Puerto Vallarta and Bahía de Banderas, emphasized the importance of the agreement of businessmen with the government of the President of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, to promote development and investment.

He said that what´s happening is good for Mexico, so “we will be expectant and participating, creating initiatives locally and regionally to strengthen the actions and proposals of the Mexican business sector”.

It is necessary to say the businessman Juan Pablo Castañón is not the president of the Business Coordinating Council in the country anymore., so that now he will continue to work in companies in the private sphere.

Tourism service providers hope that the surveillance at sea will prevent the harassment of whales to scare them out of the waters of Bahía de Banderas.

Particularly in this season there have been several complaints about boats approaching whales.

That is why providers of tourism services dedicated to this activity trust the government to reinforce these animals’ protection.
