Aeroméxico has announced the reopening of its Monterrey – Puerto Vallarta route, after having been suspended at the end of the summer season of 2018.

This route will be reopened starting June 17, and the airline will fly three times a week between the capital of Nuevo Leon and Puerto Vallarta. This Puerto Vallarta airport also connects with the Riviera Nayarit.

The flights will use small aircraft Embraer EMB-170, with capacity for 76 passengers, totaling an offer of up to 2 thousand tickets to travel Puerto Vallarta from the north of the country.

The general director of Visitors and Conventions Bureau of the Riviera Nayarit (OVC) and the Association of Hotels and Motels of Bahía de Banderas, Marc Murphy, stated that the fact that Aeroméxico has decided to open the route from Monterrey two years in a row, shows the confidence that this region inspires, combined with the fact that it was a profitable route for the airline.

“It’s news that we feel good about, because we are talking about tourists who may come for a week or maybe two, especially considering that Nuevo León is the fifth state in Mexico that sends more visitors to the Riviera Nayarit,” he said.
