The municipal government of Arturo Dávalos Peña, continues to promote the development of small businesses and local entrepreneurs, through the ‘Puerto Vallarta Business Club’, where they are provided with better tools to strengthen their commercial activities.

Through the Directorate of Economic Development, together with the Cecati 63, the second phase of this Club was recently closed.

The event was held from January to March, where a total of 68 entrepreneurs were trained and knew about the experience of 10 businessmen from Vallarta. along with teacher María Luisa Ramírez. Different topics were addressed such as leadership, teamwork, emotional intelligence, decision making, negotiation process, strategic planning and creativity.

At the closing ceremony of these activities, Guadalupe Guadalupe Carvajal attended the event, who on behalf of Mayor Arturo Dávalos Peña, recognized the commitment shown by those who were part of this training, supported by the Ministry of Public Education.

He pointed out the efforts of the Directorate of Economic Development and Cecati, that helped achieve a valuable exchange and training program.

The mayor also mentioned the efforts made by the municipality with the program ‘Excellence Vallarta’ “which consists of a series of trainings on topics such as: know Vallarta and its surroundings, emotional intelligence, teamwork, tourism culture, disability awareness, human quality services, among others”.
