The participation of Puerto Vallarta in the “Seatrade Cruise Global” held in Miami, Florida, was described as successful by the general director of the Integral Port Administration (API) of this city, Constanza Suárez Jiménez, who highlighted the recognition of the cruise lines to this region as a safe area in Mexico for tourism.

”It was a successful participation, completely brilliant, because we had an important group of cruise lines, mainly Disney and MSC (Mediterranean Shipping Company), as well as the president of the FCCA (Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association), Michele Paige’s, who will visit us in the near future, maybe on June 26″, explained Suárez Jiménez.

She recognized the importance of the growth of the maritime infrastructure of Puerto Vallarta.

He said that the project that is under construction represents a whole proposal for infrastructure and equipment to improve the experience of international cruise passengers and tourists who arrive in Puerto Vallarta.

Constanza Suárez reported that, in addition, the president of the World Tourism Organization (WTO) attended the Seatrade Cruise Global for the first time, and he recognized the importance of the event and Mexican tourist destinations such as Puerto Vallarta, which is part of the route of the Mexican Riviera along with Mazatlan and Los Cabos.
