The 3 individuals were seen throwing objects at the crocodile to ‘bother’ him. Last Tuesday night, a group of 3 individuals of foreign origin were arrested by municipal police, after receiving a report of the aggression to a crocodile.
According to the report, foreigners were throwing rocks at the crocodile that was lying on the shore.
When arriving, the police saw the 3 men throwing 2 bottles for it to react and give them a ‘show’.
It is worth mentioning that this is a species protected by Mexican regulations and attacking them deserves detention and penalties for environmental crimes.
The 3 people were sent to the appropriate authority and the crocodile could have a good night, without further disturbances of visitors.
