Jalisco State Prosecutor’s Office (FEJ) confirmed that relatives of José Felipe Tomé Velázquez identified his body at the Forensic Medical Service in the municipality of Puerto Vallarta. His body was located this Tuesday state of Nayarit.
Prior to the discovery of his body José was kidnapped on November 22 on his way home in Puerto Vallarta. José Felipe Tomé Velázquez was a successful real estate developer in Puerto Vallarta.
Police found evidence of gun shot injuries on José’s body. Police released the body to his next of kin after performing autopsy and investigations into the cause of death.
Police confirmed the cause of death was due cerebral hemorrhage due to a diffuse contusion of the skull caused by a gunshot.
Police continue their investigations into the initial abduction and resulting murder.
