Puerto Vallarta will have one of the five Regional Sports Talent Centers that the State Council for Sports Promotion (CODE) Jalisco will build, to improve the promotion of sports and the development of talents, which include disciplines such as athletics, basketball, surfing, sailing, volleyball, swimming, racquetball, adapted sports, boxing and baseball.
At the head of this meeting, the director of the Municipal Sports CODE Jalisco, Gustavo Fong Patiño, said it is the sixth regional meeting that takes place with the purpose of knowing the needs of municipalities and their work plans and to generate a route of action.
The regional coordinator and liaison with the Directorate of Municipal Sports, Juan José Cuevas García, was at the meeting. The leaders of the areas of Physical Culture, High Performance, Sports Talents, Sports Development, Municipal Centers and Training of the dependence were also attended the meeting.
