Jalisco Wins Second Place for Poetry in the National Cultural “Espartaqueada”
February 13, 2019Puerto Vallarta, Jal. – The State of Jalisco managed to obtain the second place within the free category in poetry in the XX National Cultural “Spartaqueada” 2019 which takes place in February. From the 2nd to the 10th in Tecomatlán, Puebla.
Eleazar Rodríguez Hernández, head in the Jalisco state of the Cultural Front of the “Antorcha campesina” Movement, announced that Luz María Luna Mojica was awarded the silver medal after her excellent interpretation of the poetry ¨Elegy to Lenin´s death¨ by Chilean poet Vicente Huidobro.
