A play made by women, for women, but with a lot of affection for men is the play: “Women in the time of rage”, a show that highlights the problems faced by men and women as a couple. It will be performed on Saturday, March 30 at 7:00 in the evening, when this play will be presented to the community of Puerto Vallarta and Bahía de Banderas, taking place at the Vallarta Theater.

It should be noted that everything that is collected will benefit “Casa Shalom Codependencia”, a civil association serving our country that supports and guides women with co-dependency problems through their rehabilitation clinic with hospitalizations, individual therapies, family, couple and mourning therapy. As well as courses and workshops.
The play: “Women in the time of rage” has in its cast the director, producer and professional actress with academic training at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), Soledad García, who has 23 years of experience. She will be accompanied by nine professional actors, all graduates of performing arts from the University of Guadalajara.

This play is a compilation of several texts dedicated to women, based on the approach made in the book “When Eva bit the apple” by the American author Judith Sills, about three stages that the woman in her life. Through their social conditioning: submission, feminism and finding from the analysis of these last two stages, a third way of perceiving their relationship with men, recovering their own value and self-esteem through being able to recognize themselves in their essence.

“Through reflection and awareness we turn to the woman who in this search to free herself from those ties leads to another way of being that is feminism, a stage that made them gain equal rights but that has led them to confront other ways of seeing life and seeing men as enemies.

Through reflections and monologues of women, as well as the analogy that is made with the idea of marriage, is how this work is developed, seasoned with songs that mean the background of what is said in it.
