Grupo Café des Artistes is getting ready to celebrate the 2019 edition of the Trier Thierry Blouet culinary competition, which will be held independently in three different venues (Puerto Vallarta, Guadalajara and Mexico City) during the second and third week of March . The contest will have young Mexican chefs, who will make a three-course menu for five people in a certain time limit. For the entry and the dessert, the contestants will take the ingredients of a surprise basket; while for the main dish they will have to cook a dish based on organic chicken, foie gras and sugar-coated duck gizzards.

The jury will be presided over by Gerard Dupont, honorary president of the Culinary Academy of France, and made up of other chefs recognized nationally and internationally. They will evaluate the performance of the candidates and will choose the first three places of each venue.

For his part, the chef Thierry Blouet (president of Grupo Café des Artistes and founder of the contest) will choose one of the winners of the first place in each venue to represent Mexico in the world competition of the gastronomic association Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, to be held on September 22, 2019 in Canada.
