The highly anticipated Puerto Vallarta has been cancelled by organizers.

Surprisingly, the carnival that for more than 7 years had been organized by members of the PVPVR.com site in Puerto Vallarta, was canceled.

It was announced through social networks by the creators of the event, which had been scheduled to take place next Tuesday, March 5.

“With great sadness, the organizers announce the cancellation of CarnivalPV scheduled for Tuesday, March 5. We want to thank those who have supported the annual event in recent years, especially companies and organizations on the south side. Registration numbers were low.

It is worth remembering that this carnival involved companies from Vallarta, organizations and, in general, the people of Valladolid.

From the side of the Sheraton Hotel, passing through the Miguel Hidalgo Park, the pier, the Lázaro Cárdenas Park until Olas Altas Street in the “Zona Romantica”, it was common to see incredible characters, with colorful costumes, colorful necklaces, imposing walkers with stilts , street artists and agile dancers, all dancing to the beat of music.

Also, it was common for participants to decorate floats in an extravagant way, as prizes of up to 10 thousand pesos were offered to the first places.

The carnival of Puerto Vallarta has attracted more than 30 thousand people in previous years, including residents and tourists of various nationalities.
